You require two metal rods.

Push the rods into the left and right holes in the phone mounting plate approximately 0.75 in (2.0 cm).

Press firmly inwards (towards the phone) to disengage the tabs, lift up on the phone to release the phone from
the wall bracket, and then pull the phone towards you.

If your phone is wall-mounted, you may need to adjust the handset rest to ensure that the receiver does not
slip out of the cradle.
