Voice Mail Service
Voice mail service is an electronic on-line answering system offered by
your telephone company. After subscribing, the voice mail system can
answer calls automatically when your line is busy or if calls are not
answered. Callers can leave messages by following the pre-recorded
instructions. When voice mail messages are recorded, “MESSAGE
WAITING
” will be displayed and VOICE MAIL indicators on the handset
and base unit will flash. You can listen to your voice mail message(s)
using the handset or the base unit.
To use this feature, we recommend you first store your access number.
Handset:
You can store your access number in the phonebook (p. 36). Then you
can access your voice mail from the phonebook and listen to message(s).
Base unit:
You can store your access number in the One-Touch Auto Dial Buttons
(p. 34). Then you can access your voice mail from the One-Touch Auto
Dial Button and listen to message(s).
