JBOD Array to a RAID Array
In this section the procedure for upgrading a 2Gb SANbloc
Series Storage Array from a JBOD system to a RAID system
is described. The equipment and parts necessary for the
upgrade are also described.

Anti-static wrist strap and properly earthed grounding wire.

Shut down the system and remove the power cables from the

Using the Phillips head screwdriver, loosen the screws securing
the I/O Module in the enclosure.

Using the handle on the module remove the I/O Module from the
enclosure.

Into the I/O Module slot install the RAID controller and secure
in place by tightening the screws using the Phillips head screw-
