You can set the NTP polling interval by issuing the set ntp interval command.
Syntax: set ntp interval <1-255>

1-255

hours between polling; default = 24

Example:

In this example, the 5100/6100 VDR resynchronizes with the NTP server every 12 hours.

You can view the currently configured NTP settings by issuing the show ntp command.
Syntax: show ntp 
Displays the current Network Timing Protocol (NTP) configurations. 
Example:

In this example, the NTP configuration is shown. The IP address of the NTP server is 

172.16.32.21, the time zone is -7 hours from UCT, and the 5100/6100 VDR resynchronizes with 

the NTP server every 12 hours.
