2.2. Choosing an automatic test 
The first step to make an automatic test is to select the access type, the instrument 
mode and the type of test:

Open the TEST MENU. 
The last used setup appears on the screen.

Select the ACCESS field and select ISDN. 
The lower selection of the screen shows the selected 
network configuration (TE-S).

Select AUTOMATIC TESTS.

Perform the test. 
2.3. Performing an Access Test 
This test allows to verify, automatically, in distinct sequences the following access 
parameters:

Layer 1 
2 
Layer 2 configuration 
3 
Layer 3 (bearer and teleservices) 
4 
Supplementary services 
5 
B channels 
Setting appropriately the parameters above-mentioned, the user can decide the test 
sequences to perform. Setting the value “Automatic”, the device will carry out a 
complete test sequence, checking all the parameters regarding the interested level.
