Connecting the Imager to a Serial Port
5. Turn the terminal/computer power back on.
6. Verify the imager operation by scanning a bar code from Appendix B, “Sample and
Programming Bar Codes.” The imager beeps once.
The imager is now connected and ready to communicate with your terminal/PC. To
program the communication parameters for a serial interface, see “Communication
Settings” in Chapter 3.
