Installing the Optional Paper Feeder
An optional feeder and paper cassette can be added to your printer to increase input
capacity for standard paper to approximately 600 sheets.

Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord from the printer and power source,
disconnect all interface cables, and remove any media output tray.

Move the printer temporarily to the side, placing it on a level surface capable of
handling its weight (fig. 6.7).

Unpack the paper cassette feeder and cassette, removing all shipping stabilizers
and packing materials. Then, place the new feeder in the location where the
printer was installed (fig. 6.8).

Save the packing materials to use for storing the feeder and cassette.

Hold the printer over the new feeder aligning the printer’s two bottom slots
with the feeder’s two pegs (fig. 6.9).

Lower the printer onto the feeder (fig. 6.10).

Reconnect the power cord and all interface cables.
