Accessing the Controller Board
Required Equipment:

Loosen completely (do not remove) the 3 screws (fig. 6.14) securing the metal
controller cover. Then, gently lift the back of the controller cover and pull it up
and off the printer.

You can now access the controller board to install upgrades. After you install the

Installing the Optional IDE Hard Disk
The internal hard disk provides extra space to store downloaded fonts. Fonts
