This is the Internet version of the user guide. © Print only for private use. 
Install the Sony Ericsson PC Suite on your 
computer by inserting the supplied CD. The 
installation normally starts automatically, 
otherwise you can start it by executing the 
start.exe
 file located on the CD.
Note: The Sony Ericsson PC Suite CD 
contains several applications. The order in 
which you install them does not matter, unless 
otherwise stated during the installation.
You can also download the Sony Ericsson PC 
Suite from www.sonyericsson.com/support.
Application Launcher
You launch individual applications in the Sony 
Ericsson PC Suite using an application 
launcher. To use the application launcher, 
select 
Start > Programs > Sony Ericsson > 
Sony Ericsson PC Suite for Smartphones
.
You can connect your phone using Bluetooth, 
the infrared port, or the USB cable. Some 
applications may require you to use a specific 
connection. For example, Sony Disc2Phone™ 
and Adobe® Photoshop® Album SE both 
require a USB connection with the 
File 
transfer
 setting in order to work.
Connecting to 
Other Devices
When you want to exchange information 
between your phone and another device, 
connect them using Bluetooth, an infrared 
link, or a USB cable.
With such a connection, you can, for example:
Send a file (such as a photo) to a computer 
or another phone.
Use a Bluetooth headset for a phone call.
Synchronize calendar events and contacts 
with the corresponding data on a 
computer.
Back up phone data onto a computer.
Use your phone as a computer modem.

Bluetooth® Wireless 
Technology
The Bluetooth® wireless technology uses 
radio waves to connect devices at a range of up 
to 30 feet (10 meters).
