music and image files to and from your phone.
Note: During USB data transfer, do not 
change the USB settings or disconnect your 
phone from the other device; this may cause 
data loss.
USB battery charging
When your phone is connected to a computer 
or other device over a USB connection, you 
can choose to simultaneously charge the 
phone’s battery.
Note: For charging the battery from a USB 
hub, use only a hub with its own power supply.
Connections Manager
Connections Manager lets you view and close 
all open Internet connections as well as the 
logs for both open and closed connections.
Select 
Tools > Connections Mgr 
to display the 
connections and logs.
To view detailed information about a 
connection or log, select either one. For 
example, if you want to reset a log, mark it, 
then select 
Reset log
 in the 
More
 menu.
Computer Modem
Using the Sony Ericsson PC Suite, a computer 
can use your phone as a modem for connecting 
to the Internet.
Synchronization 
and Backup
The Sony Ericsson PC Suite lets you 
synchronize your phone with common 
computer applications (local synchronization) 
and perform data backups.
Without using the Sony Ericsson PC Suite, 
you can synchronize your phone with a remote 
server over a mobile network (remote 
synchronization).
Tip For Calendar and Tasks entries, there is 
another backup method: copying the entries to 
and from the Memory Stick™. See
