4. Choose the available connection type and tap on 

 to activate the connection

and P2N Link function (tap on 

 to close the window without taking any

action).

5. Once the connection is set and the P2N Link function is activated, the following windows

will be displayed (see C1 and C2).

6. Activate the Plan2Nav application on your mobile device and start viewing the CPN

Series Chart Plotter on iOS screen (as described in the following Par. 2.17.2 “P2N Link
Function Activation on Mobile Device”).

The P2N Link is remembered and restored on power on, however after the RAM Clear operation is
performed  the P2N Link will not be activated.

1. While in Chart Plotter Mode press the 

 Intelligent key.

2. Tap on P2N Link Icon 

.

3. Tap on 

 to stop the CPN Series Chart Plotter from sending out a picture of

its screen (or tap on 

 to close the window without taking any action).

4. P2N Link is deactivated but the  Wi-Fi

®

 connection is maintained (also Ad-Hoc).

Before starting Plan2Nav application and P2N Link functionality, please make sure that
Wi-Fi

®

 connection between your iOS device and the CPN Series Chart Plotter is set up.

1. The iOS device must be connected to the same Wi-Fi

®

 Hotspot or Ethernet router as the

CPN Series Chart Plotter. It can be also connected to a CPN Wi-Fi

®

 network activated

on the Chart Plotter. For more details refer to the Chapter 3 “Connection Manager”.

2. Tap on Plan2Nav 

 icon.

3. After starting Plan2Nav application, tap on Chart Plotter Link icon (see A).
