Managing Printer Usage
Value Up
Press Value Up to display the current value for the current menu item. Press Value
Up again to scroll the list of values that apply to the current item. It is also used to
enter the digit 3 (three) when a password is requested for releasing or deleting a
Secure Print or Proof Print job.

If the printer is on-line, the Value Up button is ignored.

When setting a numeric value (for example, for an Ethernet, Token Ring or Novell
Menu item), pressing the Value Up button increases the value by one step amount.
Holding the Value Up button down for more than 1 second increments values
repeatedly until the button is released.

If the printer requests you to load a different media type or size than what is loaded
in the indicated tray, pressing Value Up scrolls the alternate media that may be used
instead of the requested media.

Press Value Down to display the current value for the current menu item. Press Value
Down again to scroll down through the list of values that apply to the current item.
Press Value Down to enter the digit 7 (seven) when a password is requested for
releasing or deleting a Secure Print or Proof Print job.
