To include the Mobile Equipment Identifier (MEID) in the HA-CHAP access request, use the ip mobile
cdma ha-chap send attribute command in global configuration mode. To disable this feature, use the
no form of the command.

The MEID is a new attribute introduced in IS-835D that will eventually replace the ESN. In the interim,
both attributes are supported on the Home Agent.
