Configuring Date and Time

To configure NAS to use an NTP server:

STEP 1

Start the web-based configuration utility of your NAS device.

To start the web-based configuration utility, open a web browser and enter the
following in the URL field:

http://<IP Address>:8080

Where <IP Address> is the IP address of your NAS device.

STEP 2

Choose Administration > General Settings > Date and Time.

STEP 3

To get the date and time from an NTP server, check Synchronize with an internet
time server automatically.

STEP 4

To specify an NTP server in the Server field, check Input Manually.
