The 8xDMT over ISDN line card is supported by the following DSLAMs with Cisco IOS Release 12.2(5)DA 
or later installed:

If you are upgrading from Cisco IOS Release 12.1(5)DA1 or earlier images on the NI-2 card to 
Release 12.2(5)DA or later, you must reformat the boot flash memory on the NI-2 card. See the
