Adjust Caching on the EMC

You must adjust the caching settings on the EMC for your MURAL setup to keep

data in memory for the correct amount of time.

To adjust caching, perform the following steps:

In the EMC Unisphere interface, navigate to

System Management >

Manage Cache

Disable all caching under SP Cache.

On the

Storage System Properties

window that pops up, open the

Cache

tab. Click the

SP A Read Cache

SP B Read Cache

, and

SP Write Cache

check boxes to remove the checks and disable caching.

Click the

button.

Adjust the SP memory.
