Overview
The upgrade process follows these general steps:
1. Back up your configuration data using the CAD backup and restore utilities for
the version you are upgrading.
2. Uninstall the previous version of CAD.
3. Install CAD 7.6(1) and restore the backed-up data.
Upgrade Procedure
If you are upgrading a single server:

To upgrade to CAD 7.6:
1. Back up your existing CAD LDAP configuration data, recordings, and Cisco
Recording and Statistics Service database. Refer to that version’s Installation
Guide for instructions on using the backup and restore tools.

version’s CDBRTool utility twice—once to back up CAD services LDAP data
and once to back up audio files.

b. Back up your Recording and Statistics database using the old version’s
BackupDB utility.
NOTE: Save the three types of backup files to different folders.
