The first method is to add parameters after the application path name. For example,
the command to start Microsoft Excel and open a spreadsheet named mrmtest.xls is:

The second method involves passing data fields as arguments. You can pass any
valid data field while launching an application. Note that if a launch action takes place
on the Startup event, call data may not be present. Empty or blank data fields will

To set up a Launch External Application action:
1. Set up a new action. See

3. Enter a name for the action and enter the path to the desired application’s
location.
Make sure the application is located so that it is available to Agent Desktop at
runtime.
