Enabling Alarm Reporting in the Concatenated Interface
To enable reporting of selected alarms and signal events, use the following command. 
Step 12
Router(config-if)# [nokeepalive value
Sets the keepalive timer (in seconds) for the 
interface.
value is a number in seconds (0 to 32767).
The default value is 10 (seconds).
To turn off keepalives entirely, use the no 
form of this command.
Step 13
Router(config-if)# [noclock source [internal | line]
Specifies the clock source for the interface. 
line specifies that the network clock source is 
used (default). 
 internal specifies that the internal clock 
source from the line card is used. 
The default is the line clock. Use the no form of 
this command to restore the default value.

To disable logging, use the no form of this 
command.
