The Cisco PDSN 4.0 release will be a special release that is developed on Cisco IOS 12.4 for the SAMI 
card on the Cisco 6500 Catalyst Switch platform and 7600 Internet router platform, and the Cisco 
NPE-G1 router.

A SAMI card with 2 GB of memory is recommended for PDSN R4.0.. Refer to the following document
