To specify the keepalive interval in seconds, use the reference-point r6 keepalive timeout command in 
base station configuration mode. Use the no form of the command to disable this command.

reference-point r6 keepalive timeout interval

no reference-point r6 keepalive timeout interval

The default setting is 60 seconds.

The following example illustrates the default behavior for the reference-point r6 response keepalive 
timeout command:

wimax agw base-station group default

  reference-point r6 keepalive timeout 30

  reference-point r6 response retransmit 10

  reference-point r6 response timeout 10R

Specifies the keepalive interval in seconds. The default value is 60 seconds.
