Creating the RNCS BFS Host
Complete the following steps to add the RNCS BFS host.
1 On the DNCS, click the Application Interface Modules tab.
2 Click BFS Admin. The BFS Admin Sites window opens.
3 Select the new RNCS you added earlier.
4 Click File > Select. The Site BFS Administration window opens.
5 Click the Hosts tab.
6 Click File > New. The Set Up BFS Host window opens.

3 Select the new RNCS you added earlier.
4 Click File > Select. The Site BFS Administration window opens.
5 Click the Hosts tab.
6 Click File > New. The Set Up BFS Host window opens.
7 Enter the following information:
BFS In-Band Mode—Select either ATM or ASI.
Inband Device Name—If you are using ASI, enter /dev/Hmux0.
Host Name—Enter the host name of the RNCS.
QAM BFS Input TSID—Enter the input TSID of the RNCS BFS QAM.
