To insert a new step into the song, enter the step number before

To delete a step, select the step number to be deleted in the

steps moved down by one position.
To delete all steps in the song or to delete all songs, press 
<Del

 and follow the instructions on the screens that appear.
Other soft keys on the Song screen:
• The 
<Conv2Seq>
 soft key:
This key accesses a feature that converts the individual steps in a
song into one long sequence. It does this by copying each event in all
of the sequences within the song to a new sequence that has the
same total number of bars as the song. This function is described in
detail later in this chapter.
• The 
<Step-1>
 soft key:
Pressing this soft key decrements the
