Chapter 7: The MIXER/EFFECTS Key
Mixer Source Select, Automated Mix
Selecting option 4 from the MIXER/EFFECTS menu presents a
screen containing four fields that alter the performance of the
mixer:
========= Mixer Source Select ==========
Stereo mix:PROGRAM
Indiv out / effect mix:PROGRAM
Effects:PROGRAM
=========== Automated Mixer ============
Record live mix changes:YES
========================================
The fields are:
The Mixer Source Select section:
• The
Stereo mix
 field:
This choice field allows you to choose one of three sources for the
data displayed on the Stereo Mixer screen and the Stereo Mix
section of the All Mix Data (Text) screen:
1.
PROGRAM
:
There is a set of stereo mix settings (volume and pan)
that is stored within each program. If
PROGRAM
 is
selected in this field, these settings are used in the Stereo
Mixer screen. In this mode, whenever the active program
is changed, the stereo mix immediately changes to the
newly selected program’s stereo mixer settings. This
option is useful if you want each newly selected program
to have a custom stereo mix. This is the default setting.
2.
SEQUENCE
:
There is a set of stereo mix settings (volume and pan)
that is stored within each sequence. If
SEQUENCE
 is
selected in this field, these settings are used in the Stereo
Mixer screen. In this mode, whenever the active sequence
is changed, the stereo mix immediately changes to the
newly selected sequence’s stereo mix settings. This option
is useful if you want each newly selected sequence to
have a custom stereo mix.
