1. Recall a check, or

For single pass transactions, start check, enter items,

press {TOTAL}.

•

- If using slip printer, turn the check over

to print the payment validation. The printer vali-

dates the method of payment without line-finding.

•

- If POS Option #41,

Amount Tendered Required is YES, index the

amount tendered. This option does not apply if us-

ing a preset $ cash pay key.

2. Press the pay key wanted. Options are:

{CASH}

Tenders the check to cash.

{PRESET~$~CASH}

Tenders the check to a specific cash amount.

{PAYMENT} Prompt Key Displays a screen of all payment types for

choice.

{PAYMENT} Preset Key

Tenders check to a specific payment type.

•

- If the server presses a

pay key without the proper cash drawer assign-

ment, error displays:

Cannot pay out because you are not

assigned to this terminal

§

Cashier/Bar terminal - the server must be

assigned to a drawer on the terminal and cannot

be assigned to another drawer in the system.

§

Restaurant terminal - the server must not be

assigned to another drawer in the system. Ei-

ther the ANY DRAWER A assignment can be

used, or the server must be assigned to a

drawer on the specific terminal.
