This procedure allows manual input of an authorization code

when it is necessary to receive it verbally over the tele-

phone rather than electronically over the modem. It can be

set under manager control with POS Option #126 Voice

Auth Under Manager Control.

1. From the Server Screen, index the server's secret code

# and press {CREDIT~CARDS}.

2. Press {VOICE~AUTHORIZATION}.
3. If prompted, index Manager Code number and press

{ENTER}.

List of open checks display.

4. Touch the line of the check wanted to authorize.
5. Press {AUTHORIZE~CARD}.
6. Screen displays Table/Check #, the Check Total and the

default amount to be authorized (the check total), and

prompts to enter credit card information.

7. If amount to authorize is different from the check total,

index the amount.
