The Delivery feature attaches a phone number to the check

and adds customer specific information to the phone number.

q It is accessed by pressing either the {PHONE~NUMBER} key

or the {DELIVERY} key.

q {PHONE~NUMBER}

•

Similar to {DELIVERY}, the Delivery Screen displays

so a phone number can be attached to the check,

but the check is not started until {START~ORDER} is

pressed from the Delivery Screen.

•

Customer’s order history is not displayed.

•

Can be used to recall an open delivery order by the

phone #.

•

Can start a new check with a phone number on an

open check with a different secondary prompt.

•

Can also be used to enter customer information

without starting a check.

q {DELIVERY}

•

Same as {START~CHECK}, but automatically brings up

the Delivery Screen so a phone number is attached

to the check.

•

Displays customer’s order history if any.

•

Used for Delivery as a reduced key stroke alterna-

tive to {PHONE~#}.

q Secondary Prompts:

•

Using a secondary prompt for a phone number en-

ables multiple orders for one phone number.

•

Example: Getting multiple Delivery orders at the

same time from a hotel.

•

It is recommended that numbers which will have

multiple orders, be entered with a secondary

prompt the first time the number is used, or that

the number be pre-entered.
