Toshiba fds crystal point Manuel D’Utilisation

This procedure allows manual input of an authorization code

when it is necessary to receive it verbally over the tele-

phone rather than electronically over the modem. It can be

set under manager control with POS Option #126 Voice

Auth Under Manager Control.

1. Index Secret Code # and press {CARD~AUTH}.
2. Index {2} for VOICE AUTHORIZATION and press

{ENTER}.

3. If prompted, index Manager Code number and press

{ENTER}.

4. Screen prompts:

Check Mode:

ENTER CHECK NUMBER:

5. Index the table number or check number and press

{ENTER}.

6. The check displays on the screen for verification.
7. Screen prompts:

ENTER THE AMOUNT TO BE AUTHORIZED:

8. Index the amount for this authorization, and press

{ENTER}.

9. Press {CARD~AUTH}. Swipe the card through the

magstripe reader or, if the card cannot be read, manu-

ally enter the card number and expiration date.

10. The screen prompts:

ENTER THE AUTHORIZATION CODE:

11. Index the authorization code received verbally from the

bank card company and press {ENTER}.

The first twenty-six key positions on the server key-

board changes mode to alphabetic keys A through

Z, to allow for alphanumeric input.

12. The Credit Voucher prints on the guest check printer.
13. Press {ENTER} at the prompt.
14. The display returns to the Server Credit Card Functions

menu.
