When the FDS is interacting with a Hotel Front Desk sys-

tem, some procedures are determined by the HFD. General

steps are outlined below for operating the FDS side.

1. From the SERVER NO./CASHIER NO. prompt, press

{ROOM~INQUIRY}.

2. Index room number (1-9 alphanumeric characters), and

press {ENTER}.

3. A guest list or a prompt requesting more data may

display.

This function can be done either automatically with each

new check (depending on POS Option #68, Auto HFD Inter-

face) or manually by the {ROOM~INQUIRY} key.
