1. From the Server Screen, press {MANAGER}.
2. Index Manager Code #, press {ENTER}.
3. Manager Key Menu displays.
4. Press {SERVER~TRANSFER}.

List of active servers display.

5. Touch the server’s name who is responsible for the ab-

sorbing check.

•

List of open checks/tables display.

6. From the list of open checks, touch the check to be

merged into another check.

•

The check displays for verification.

7. Touch {NEW~TABLE~NUMBER} (table tracking systems)

OR

{NEW~CHECK~NUMBER} (check tracking systems).

8. Using keypad, index table/check # to which the merger

will occur (the absorbing check), then press {ENTER}.

Screen prompts:

The check selected is an open check.

Do you want to combine the two checks?

9. Press {PROCEED}.

10. To maintain correct guest count, touch the line of the

table of the combined check.

11. Touch {NEW~GUEST~COUNT}.

•

Using keypad, index the total # guest of the two

checks, then press {ENTER}.

12. Touch {COMBINE~CHECKS}.
13. Validations write to the Audit Trail Report and print at

Guest Check Printer.

14. Press {DONE}. Display returns to the Manager Key Menu.
15. Press {EXIT~TO~RESTAURANT}.
