Reroute Items to Another Remote Printer
This function reroutes all menu items assigned to a specific
prep area name from one printer to another. Prep area
names are assigned to printer ports in the System Configu-
ration Table. The preparation area names are defined in the
Prep Area Table.
q Items assigned to a prep area name are routed to differ-
ent printers depending on from which terminal the check
is sent.
1. From the Server Screen, press {MANAGER}.
2. Index Manager Code #, press {ENTER}.
3. Manager Key Menu displays.
4. Press {ASSIGN~REMOTE~PRT}.

numbers and an option to STOP PRINTING.

items should be rerouted to.

7. Touch the terminal(s) from which the rerouting will
apply.
8. Press {ASSIGN~REMOTES}.
9. Press {DONE}. Display returns to the Manager Key Menu.

10. Press {EXIT~TO~RESTAURANT}.
Do not send items to a printer which is turned off or
off-line for any reason. This may cause many problems,
including causing all orders to stop printing at all prep ar-
eas or cause the check file to become unstable. Use the
procedure following the sample screens on the next page
to turn printing off.
