This function adds a tip amount to a MOP on the Server,

Revenue Center and Cash Drawer Reports.

q Tips can also be added by the following methods:

•

If using Credit Authorization, a tip can be added or

adjusted using the Adjust Tip function from the

Server Credit Card Menu.

•

If not using Credit Authorization and POS Option

#44, Pay Off Zero Balanced Check, is set to YES, a

tip can be added by starting a check (do not enter

any items), selecting the correct tender, then

entering the amount at the prompt.

q If a check is incorrectly tendered as Cash without a tip

instead of Charge with tip, transfer the cash payment

amount to the proper charge account. Then go through

the procedure again to add in the tip.

1. From the Server Screen, press {MANAGER}.
2. Index Manager Code #, press {ENTER}.
3. Manager Key Menu displays.
4. Press {MANAGEMENT}.
5. Management Menu displays.
6. Press {MOP~ADJUSTMENT}.
7. Press selection for cash drawer (A or B).
8. Touch the terminal number of the workstation whose

MOP’s will be adjusted.

9. Touch the server’s name to which the tip will be added

(whose server report will be adjusted).

10. Press {ENTER} to bypass the MOP amount.
11. Index tip amount to be added, then press {ENTER}.
12. Touch the payment type on the right of the screen of

the MOP to which the tip will be added.
