This function enables the manager to correct employee

work hours. Those hours can be regular, overtime, or both.

Choosing this option brings up a submenu with two choices:

Changes are made to completed shifts. The

adjustments update both the Daily and Period

Timekeeping reports immediately.

Changes are made to a job description. The changes

update the Period Timekeeping report immediately.

Timekeeping adjustments are made in military format.

Example: 12:00 Midnight = 0

12:00 Noon = 1200

12:11 AM = 11

2:05 AM = 205

12:11 PM = 1211

2:05 PM = 1405

q Always view or print the Timekeeping report (Daily or

Period) before beginning an adjustment to verify how

much regular and overtime hours are on the report for

the employee.

q When adding hours in a Daily Adjustment, the total

regular hours cannot go over the maximum daily limit

(set in POS Option #56 Maximum Daily Hours). If this

is attempted, the screen displays the following

message:

On a Touch station:

Cannot make adjustment because the

maximum daily hours would be exceeded.

On a Keyboard entry station:

Invalid Hour Adjustment
