This function clears the Period Timekeeping report totals to

zero to start a new pay period.

q As pay periods do not always coincide with accounting

periods, the timekeeping reset is separate from the

system resets.

q The reset can be performed at any terminal at any time,

but no validation prints.

q This function also resets the line-finding for the

employee timecards if slip printers are used.

Before executing this reset, print the Period Timekeeping

Report to have the accumulated work hours and dollars

for the pay period. The report does not print automatically

and is not archived during a System Reset.

1. From the Reports Menu, select {TIMEKEEPING~REPORTS}.
2. Timekeeping Menu displays.
3. Press {PERIOD~RESET}.
4. Screen prompts:

5. Press {PERIOD}to clear PERIOD TIMEKEEPING REPORT

(first section of report.
Press {PAY~PERIOD} to clear PAY PERIOD TIMEKEEPING

REPORT (last section of report).

6. Reset is instantaneous. Timekeeping Menu displays.
