When an error occurs, the message “A problem occurred in the external 
expansion section (C****)” appears, where “C****” is an error code. The 
table below shows the meaning of each error code and what you should 
do to correct it.

Hardware error

Turn power off and then back on again. 
If this does not correct the problem, 
contact the nearest Minolta-authorized 
service facility.

Memory overflow error

Divide the document into multiple parts 
or decrease its number of pages.
Simplify the document if it contains 
complex graphics.

complex graphics.

Turn on the copier power again.

Timeout error with host PC

Increase the timeout value in the 
“Parallel” menu of the DOS Remote 
Panel Setting Utility.

With the Di620/520 Administrator Mode 
enabled, a print job was attempted 
without entering an account number in 
the printer driver.

With the Di620/520 Administrator Mode 
enabled, a print job was attempted with 
the wrong account number entered in 
the printer driver.

Input the correct account number in the 
printer driver.

With the Di620/520 Administrator Mode 
enabled, a print job was attempted after 
the account copy limit was already 
reached.

Contact your administrator.

A paper tray set up for reused paper is 
specified for duplex printing.

Select another paper tray for duplex 
printing, or change the attributes
of the currently selected tray to normal 
paper.
