Cleaning of the quartz glass tube

Assembly - See diagram 1 . Follow the diagram to
assemble the unit.

Note that the suction cup is removable and that the spring
loaded plastic hanger is also removable. To remove the
suction cup pull the suction cup towards the empty space.
To install the suction cup insert and pull it into the original
space as shown in Assembly diagram 1 . To remove the
plastic spring loaded hanger twist the plastic hanger
counter clockwise and remove. To install the plastic spring
loaded hanger insert as shown on Assembly diagram 1 ,
and twist clockwise to lock in place.

LED Lights - See diagram 2 The LED next to the on/ off
switch is the indicator light for the power supply. The LED
light on the top surface of the unit is the indicator light for
the bulb. Please note that if both indicator lights are out
the first thing to check is to confirm that the adaptor is in
an electrical supply socket that has power. The next step is
to check if the on/ off switch is in the on position. If after
insuring there is power coming to the unit and the LED for
the bulb is out while the power supply LED is on then the
bulb needs to be replaced. If both LED lights do not light
then replace the transformer.

Lamp Replacement - Follow the instructions for removing
the four bolts as per the lamp replacement diagram.

Connection - The unit may be hung from the side of
your aquarium as shown in the diagram 4 .Use supplied
suction cup to secure the unit in place at the other end of
the unit. You must check all connections to insure there is
no water leaking from the connections. Please note that
the direction of the flow of water must be from the end

creator using your fingers to grasp it or gently
withdrawing it with a pair of pliers before pushing a soft
bristle brush through the quartz glass tube back and forth
several times. This should need to be done only after a long
period of use. The unit is self cleaning by the patented
turbulence creator.
