Access Point Expert Mode
5.1  Overview
The WAP5805 is set to one single package. In Access Point mode your WAP5805 bridges a wired 
network (LAN) and wireless LAN (WLAN) in the same subnet. See the figure below for an example.

5.2  What You Can Do
• Use  the  Status screen (
) to view read-only information about your 
WAP5805.
• Use  the  LAN screen (
Chapter 10 on page 79
) to set the IP address for your WAP5805 acting as 
an access point.
• Use  the  Wireless LAN screens (
) to configure the wireless settings and 
wireless security between the wireless clients and the WAP5805.
