5.0 MAINTENANCE 

INSTRUCTIONS 

5.1 

The only maintenance required is periodic cleaning the filter system.  Please follow the steps below to clean 

the air filters. 

5.1.1 

Layout a towel beside the bed on the side where the unit will be maintained. 

5.1.2 

Unplug the DC power supply from the unit. 

5.1.3 

Unplug the power supply from the AC outlet. 

5.1.4 

Carefully remove the hose from the unit with a firm pull on the nozzle. 

5.1.5 

Pull the unit from under the bed. 

5.1.6 

Carefully remove the lid from the unit with a firm pull on the top nozzle mate cylinder. 

5.1.7 

Remove the base from the unit. 

5.1.8 

Place the core appliance on the towel. 

5.1.9 

Wash the lid and base in the sink with mild soapy water until clean. 

5.1.10  Dry the lid and base assemblies taking care with the filter. 

5.1.11  Do not submerse the core unit in water. 

5.1.12  Use a damp rag to clean the core unit.   

5.1.13  Reassemble the clean lid and base to the core unit. 

5.1.14  Place the unit under the bed and reattach the hose to the bed. 

5.1.15  Plug the power supply into the unit. 

5.1.16  Plug the unit back into the AC wall outlet. 

5.2 

Any other servicing should be done by a factory authorized representative.
