− Inserting and Removing the SIM Card
Before using the phone, you must insert the SIM card.
• Remove the battery if it is attached. Slide the SIM card into the slot, with the
golden connectors facing down and the clipped corner to the right.
• Secure the card by sliding the lock tab.

Using the SIM Card
Most SIM cards require you to enter a security code, or PIN (Personal Identity
Number) code before you can use the card to access the network. You will need to
enter the PIN code for the SIM card each time you turn your phone on, to prevent
misuse.
