 Setting the Language for the Day of the Week, Geographical Position, Date, Time
The following settings require some time. It is important that you start by selecting a city from the appendix that is
near your location. Its geographic data is later used for calculating the sunrise and sunset times.
A special feature if the weather station is the possibility for "pros" to enter geographic latitudes and
longitudes (degrees and minutes); the data fort his is available e.g. in the internet and on some maps.
Settings are made in a certain order that must be gone through completely (steps 1 to 13).
When the "SET" (2) button is kept down for a longer period of time, the setting mode is left, but all changes/settings
already made are lost! The same is true if nothing is entered for some time.
Step 1:
Keep the "SET" button (2) pressed until the weekday value display language next to the time starts flashing. Adjust
the language with the button "–" (6) or "+" (7) buttons:
GER = German
ENG = English
DUT = Dutch
SPA = Spanish
ITA
= Italian
FRE = French
Step 2:
Briefly press the "SET" button (2) to go to the next setting.
Step 3:
The display shows "CITY" and the tree-digit city code (or abbreviation for a city) flashes. The city codes can be found
in the appendix to these operating instructions. Adjust the city code with the "–" (6) or "+" (7) buttons:
Select a city near your location so that the internal calculation for sunrise and sunset times is as accurate
as possible.
When choosing "USR" as a city code, the geographic position of your location can be entered by
latitudes and longitudes if you have this data available (e.g. from the internet, etc.), see section 4.
