 Select Alarm Clock Function or View Alarm Time
• Select the "time/date" function with the "–" (6) and "+" (7) buttons first (icon " " flashes).
• Press the "ALARM/CHART" button (1) briefly until the desired alarm clock function appears:
Icon " W": The alarm clock function is only triggered on weekdays.
Icon " S": The alarm function is only triggered once, then it is automatically switched off.
Icon "PRE AL": At low outdoor temperatures below about 2°C, the so-called pre-alarm is triggered at a set time
(15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes) before the actual alarm time. This way, you have enough time to scratch ice off the
windshield of your car, for example, or to shovel snow.
For the pre-alarm (display "PRE-AL") to be switched on or set, the alarm clock function " W" or " S"
must be set first (otherwise, there cannot be any pre alarm).
 Activating/Deactivating the Alarm Function
• Select the "time/date" function with the "–" (6) and "+" (7) buttons first (icon " " flashes).
• Press the "ALARM/CHART" button (1) briefly until the desired alarm clock function appears; see above:
• The "–" (6) or "+" (7) buttons are used to switch the selected alarm function on (alarm time is displayed) or off ("OFF"
is displayed).
For the pre-alarm (display "PRE-AL") to be switched on or set, the alarm clock function " W" or " S"
must be set first (otherwise, there cannot be any pre alarm).
 Setting the Alarm Time
You need to be in the "time/date" function (icon " " flashes); select it with the "–" (6) and "+" (7) buttons.
• Select the alarm function " W" or " S" by pressing the "ALARM/CHART" button (1) briefly.
• Switch on the alarm clock function you just selected (press "–" (6) or "+" (7)), so that the alarm time is displayed
instead of "OFF".
• Press the "ALARM/CHART" (1) button until the hours of the alarm time start to flash. Set the hours with the "–" (6)
or "+" (7) buttons. Confirm the setting by briefly pressing the "ALARM/CHART" (1) button.
• The alarm time minutes flash; set them with the "–" (6) or "+" (7) buttons. Confirm the setting by briefly pressing
the "ALARM/CHART" (1) button.
• The display now shows "SNZ" and the minutes for the so-called snooze function start to flash ("SNOOZE"). You
may set a time between 1 and 15 minutes with the "–" (6) or "+" (7) buttons. Confirm the setting by briefly pressing
the "ALARM/CHART" (1) button.
Now press the "ALARM/CHART" button (1) briefly until the current time is displayed again.
