11. Inserting Batteries, Battery Change
Open the battery compartment on the rear of the IR remote control and insert two type AAA/Micro batteries
with correct polarity (observe plus/+ and minus/-). Close the battery compartment again.
If the range of the IR remote control reduces or the CD player no longer reacts to the control
commands of the IR remote control, replace the batteries by new ones.
Observe that some buttons of the IR remote control are not used for the CD player but for other
devices of the same manufacturer (e.g. an amplifier).
12. Connection
Before connecting the device, ensure that the mains plug is disconnected. Also disconnect all
other devices to be connected from their power supply.
a) Analogue Stereo Output (Cinch Sockets)
For the connection of the cinch sockets only use the shielded cinch wires. Use of any other cab-
les may cause interferences.
To avoid distortions or mal-adjustments that may cause damage to the device, only such devices
must be connected to the cinch sockets that also have cinch connections (only line levels admis-
sible).
Connect the cinch sockets „LINE OUT“ on the rear of the CD player to the CD input of your amplifier (marked,
e.g., with „CD IN“ or „AUX IN“). For this, use, e.g., the enclosed stereo cinch cable.

later be played back in the correct direction as well.
Never connect the CD player to the phono input of the amplifier. It is only suitable for record
players.
