The wall light is intended for illuminating indoor areas; it only may be installed and operated in 
dry, enclosed indoor spaces. The product is intended for installation on a wall. 
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves 
the risk of short circuits, fi re, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modifi ed or 
converted!

 The lightning symbol indicates a health hazard, e.g. electric shock. 

 

 This symbol indicates specifi c risks associated with handling, function and use. 

  The “Hand” symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

   The product is intended to be located and used only in dry indoor spaces; it must not 

get damp or wet.

  The light cannot be dimmed.

  Observe the operating instructions!

 

•  Unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not allowed for 

safety and approval reasons (CE).

 

•  The product is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children! There is 

danger of a life-threatening electric shock!

 

•  The product may be operated only on the mains voltage (see section “Technical 

Data”). Never try to operate the product at another voltage, as this will cause its 
destruction.

 

   During installation, all poles must be disconnected from the mains voltage (e.g. via 

RCD). 

 

•  The product is designed according to Protection Class I; the protective earth con-

ductor must be connected. 

     If there is not a mains supply provided with a protective earth conductor at the 

place of installation, the product must not be connected/used there. In this case, 
install a new voltage supply with a protective earth wire.

 

• The product must not be operated via a dimmer.

 

•  This product must be installed and used only in dry conditions indoors. The prod-

uct must not get damp or wet as this may damage it; as well as danger of a fatal 
electric shock!

 

•   Do not use this light in rooms or under adverse ambient conditions where combus-

tible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a risk of explosion!

 

•  Do not hang or attach objects (e.g. decorative material) to the light, there is a risk 

of fi re!

 

• Caution, LED light: 

 

  Do not look directly into the LED light!

 

  Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments! 

 

•  The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or 

heavy mechanical stress.

 

•  If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be 

turned off and precautions must be taken to ensure that it is not used unintention-
ally. After this, arrange for an expert to check the product.

 

  Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:

 

  -  the product shows visible signs of damage

 

  -   the product does not work at all or works poorly (where there is fl ickering light, 

leaking smoke or a smell of burning, audible crackling noises, or discolouration 
of the product or to adjacent surfaces)

 

  -  the product was stored under unfavourable conditions

 

  -  it was exposed to heavy loads during transport

 

•  Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a 

dangerous plaything for children.

 

•  In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer’s 

Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Facilities are 
to be observed!

 

•   If you have any questions that are not answered in this manual, please contact our 

technical service or another specialist.

•   Install the wall light only on a stable surface. Use screws and plugs that are suitable for the 

surface. Use the product only when it is fi rmly and steadily mounted.

•   The wall lamp must be installed and used out of the reach of children.
•   The wall lamp must be protected on the user’s distribution board by a 10/16 A fuse. An earth 

circuit fault interrupter must be installed before this (FI protective switch).

•   The wall lamp must be voltage-free during installation. It is not suffi cient to just turn off the 

light switch!

   Turn the power off and ensure that none of the poles are live by removing the electric circuit’s 

fuse or switching off at the circuit breaker. Secure it against unauthorised reconnection, e.g. 
with a danger sign. In addition, switch off the appropriate earth-leakage circuit breaker.

•   Check that the mains cable is free of current e.g. with an appropriate tester.
