Installation and Connection
Pay attention to the information in the chapter “Preparations for Installation”!
• Remove the mounting plate from the rear of the wall light. For this purpose, fully unscrew the
two screws to the left and right on the wall light.
• Mark the positions for installation on the wall, through the holes of the mounting plate.
• Push the mains cable through the appropriate cable bushing in the mounting plate and attach
• Push the mains cable through the appropriate cable bushing in the mounting plate and attach
the mounting plate to the wall using suitable screws and wall plugs, if necessary.
When drilling mounting holes or screwing into place, ensure that no existing cables
or pipes are damaged.
or pipes are damaged.
• Connect the mains cable using the terminal strip in the wall light’s housing (brown cable = L,
blue cable = N, green/yellow cable = PE/earth, earth symbol).
The protective earth wire must be connected!
If the wall lamp replaces an existing lamp and there is not a protective earth wire
available, the lamp must not be installed. First, draw a new mains cable.

In the case where no protective earth conductor is connected, faulty functioning of
the mains voltage might charge the metal housing of the wall lamp. There is a life-
threatening hazard through an electric shock!

Make sure only the minimum required length of the cable is stripped; otherwise it
could cause a short-circuit.

Also check the other screwing connections at the terminal strip (for the connection
cables of the light) and fasten them, if necessary.

• Place the wall lamp on the mounting plate. Depending on the desired use and purpose, the
LED in the wall light can face upwards to the ceiling or downwards, to the fl oor.
Make sure that the mains cables or the cables of the light itself are not pinched or trapped.
• Re-insert the two screws that you removed at the beginning, so the LED wall light is secured
• Re-insert the two screws that you removed at the beginning, so the LED wall light is secured
to the mounting plate.
• Switch on the mains voltage again and make sure that the wall light is functioning.
If the bulbs in the wall light do not light, switch off the mains voltage immediately
(take out the fuse or switch off automatic cut-out, switch off corresponding ground
fault circuit interrupter).
fault circuit interrupter).
Thereafter, check the connections of the wall lamp.
In case of doubt, contact a professional (e.g. an electrician)!
Maintenance and Care
• The wall lamp does not require maintenance. The LED used is very long-lasting and it cannot
be replaced.
• Switch off the wall light or disconnect it from the mains before cleaning. After that, allow suf-
fi cient time for the wall light to cool down.
• The exterior of the wall lamp should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do not use ag-
gressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the housing (discolouring)
or impair operation.
or impair operation.
Do not press too hard on the housing, as scratches might appear.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
