FUNCTION: Gear Ratio
DESCRIPTION:
GR specifies the Gear Ratios for the slave axis in the electronic gearing mode. The master
axis for the DMC-1425 is specified with the GA command. For all 141X controllers, the
master axis need not be set. Simply assign a ratio GRN to gear the x axis to the dual
encoder. The master axis for all other Econo series controllers is the auxiliary encoder in
servo mode, the main encoder input in stepper mode. Gear ratio may range between +/-
127.9999. The slave axis will be geared to the actual position of the master. The master
can go in both directions. GR 0 disables gearing. A limit switch sets the GR to 0
gearing.
