The syntax for this command is:
[no] ip vrrp
<vr-id>
Example:
X330WAN-2DS1-1(configure)# ip vrrp 1
(ip vrrp) address
Use the
address option to assign an IP address to the virtual router. Use the no
form of this command to remove an IP address from a virtual router.
Note:
This command is executed from the Fast Ethernet and Fabric Fast Ethernet
interfaces.
The syntax for this command is:
[no] ip vrrp <vr-id> address <ip-address>
[no] ip vrrp <vr-id> address <ip-address>
Example:
To assign address 10.0.1.2 to virtual router 1:
To assign address 10.0.1.2 to virtual router 1:
X330WAN-2DS1-1(configure)# ip vrrp 1 address 10.0.1.2
(ip vrrp) auth-key
Use the
ip vrrp auth-key command to set the virtual router simple password
authentication for the virtual router ID. Use the
no form of this command to disable
simple password authentication for the virtual router instance.
Note:
This command is executed from the Fast Ethernet and Fabric Fast Ethernet
interfaces.

The IP address to be assigned to the virtual router
