Set up service for either an ADSL or SDSL cell-based card using one of the following sections.

The following shows the configuration process for setting up ADSL cell-based service.

Create one or more ADSL line profiles. See 

 (command-line interface) or 

(Web interface).

Create one or more ADSL alarm profiles. See 

 (command-line interface) or 

(Web interface).

Provision service for the ADSL card. Configure the ports, including assigning the ADSL 
line and alarm profiles to ADSL ports. See

 (Web interface).

Create the cross connect through the Avidia system from the line card to the ADSL 
cell-based card. See 

 (command-line interface) or 

 (Web interface) for more information.

To configure SDSL cell service, you must:

configure SDSL cell line profiles. See

configure SDSL cell alarm profiles. See

configure SDSL cell ports. See

establish ATM connections between ports across the Avidia chassis. See
