Diagnostics functions
The addressing and diagnostics unit (order no.: 3RK1904-2AB01) features a range of
diagnostics functions, such as:
● Detecting incorrect polarity or overload
● Measuring the AS-i supply voltage
● Detecting faults (with comments)
● Displaying I/O faults

Troubleshooting

Response to faults
Description
In some cases, the device can be set in such a way that it responds to faults by either
issuing an alarm or by shutting down. Examples: "Response to asymmetry", "response to
temperature sensor overload".
