Acknowledging faults
Restart after device-internal shutdown
If the motor starter shuts down the contact blocks automatically, it does not restart until:
● The fault has been rectified
● The fault has been acknowledged
● The fault has been rectified
● The fault has been acknowledged
Acknowledgement
You can acknowledge faults as follows:
● With "trip reset"
● With "trip reset"
– DO0 and DO1 in process image (PIO) of controller simultaneously
– Key-operated switch (order variant) in position O
– Key-operated switch (order variant) in position O
● Parameterized "shutdown with restart" (autoreset)
● With the opposite command, e.g. "motor OFF" (process mapping errors only)
● With the opposite command, e.g. "motor OFF" (process mapping errors only)
NOTICE
Trip reset is edge-triggered.
If trip reset is present permanently, acknowledgement is only triggered once.
