Setting HR Zones Manually
If you know your maximum heart rate, you can enter it 
and allow the Forerunner to calculate your heart rate zones 
automatically. You can also enter your heart rate zones 
manually.
To base heart rate zones on your max HR:
1.  Press 
mode to access Menu mode. Then highlight 
Settings and press enter.
2.  Highlight the sport you want to change heart rate 
zones for and press 
enter.
3.  Highlight 
Set HR Zones and press enter.
4.  Highlight the 
Max HR field and press enter. Enter 
your maximum heart rate and select 
OK.
5.  Highlight the 
Zones field and press enter. Then 
select 
Based on Max.
To change your heart rate zones manually:
1.  Press 
mode to access Menu mode. Then highlight 
Settings and press enter.
2.  Highlight the sport you want to change heart rate 
zones for and press 
enter.
3.  Highlight 
Set HR Zones and press enter.
4.  Select the 
Max HR field and change your maximum 
heart rate.
5.  Highlight the 
Zones field and press enter. Then 
select 
Custom.
6.  In any heart rate zone, highlight a heart rate value 
you want to change and press 
enter. Enter a heart 
rate value and select 
OK. Repeat for each heart rate 
value you want to change.
